Co-Operation with the Technical University of Kaiserslautern

Since 2014 we have been working in co-operation on stove development work with the  Faculty for Combustion-Machines (Lehrstuhl  für Verbrennungskraftmaschinen) at the Technical University of Kaiserslauten. Our goals:

  • Measurement and documentation of the efficiency of the stoves
  • Optimisation of efficiency and other specific characteristics like temperature curves
  • Development of a multi-functional stove for developing countries which can be used both for cooking and for heating
  • Test of new stoves designed to address specific needs of the societies in our target countries

To date one diploma thesis and one study have been published:

"Efficiency Analysis of Stoves (Wirkungsgraduntersuchungen von Ofenanlagen)" - diploma thesis of Jerome Forster, April 2015

"Optimisation and Efficiency Measurement at Furnace Systems (Optimierung und Wirkungsgradmessungen an Ofenanlagen)" - study by Michael Ollinger, February 2016
